Ugh. I am a teacher, moving into a position in which the previous teacher purchase Premiere Elements for eduction. He has left the district, and I am unable to find serial number documentation. I cannot use the product code to redeem, because it can only be redeemed by the original purchaser. In my attempts to contact Adobe, I am sent here. Is there anything that I can do?

Yesterday  I spent 14 hours with this problem:

Have a new Elements 11 program (never installed) purchased from Sam's. Took photo of serial numberI know it is correct. Spent hours today trying to install it on a windows 7 computer that has never had Elements on it. Elements repeated claimed the serial number was incorrect. It is the only number that came with the program. I tried to lift the label on the box for the number but there wasn't one. I can't retrieve it from Adobe since it has never been installed. I am out hours of my wasted time and the price of the program. I am more than MAD.
