Can CS2 be installed on and iMac OS 10.9 from original CS2 disks

Question

Can CS2 be installed on and iMac OS 10.9 from original CS2 installation disks. I finally broke down and bought a new Mac after years of working on a Mac G5 Tower. Its been very frustrating to have investing altogether around $8,000 in software and hardware for it to be turned to explictive. Can CS2 be installed on and iMac OS 10.9 from original CS2 disks. I feel a company should stand behind their products regardless of time. Between Mac and Adobe I feel very explictived.

you can't use the original cs2 discs to activate any adobe programs. the activation servers have been shut-down.

to help people that still use their cs2 programs, adobe has made cs2 programs available that do not need activation, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.html

obviously the cs2 programs were not designed to be compatible with your os.
