Can I download and activate software but use the license key on the box?

I purchased a new laptop. It has no DVD or CD-ROM drive. I purchased Photoshop CS3 and Acrobat Pro8 with my old laptop. Can I download the software from the Adobe site and activate it with the software key on the box?

    Adobe does not keep old versions for downloading, but another site does.  You can download the trial versions from the site linked below and then use your serial number(s) to activate.

    Thanks, Ned. I was able to download the Acrobat Pro XI version and it seemed to work okay with my old serial number. But I may have the 30 day trial. I'll find out in 29 days!

    The serial number should put an end to the trial period.  If it is still presenting it as a trial, select whichever option is presented for using a serial number / key to activate it and that should alleviate the issue.

    If you should have an issue getting it to activate, contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone.
