Question

Can I download Flash CS6 with Adobe CC membership?

My goal is to build a projector that plays on a local PC, but Flash CC doesn't create projectors (except through some elaborate AIR route).  So, I need to download Flash CS6 apparently to build the .exe without going through AIR.

Can I download Flash CS6 using Adobe CC membership?  I had read on board postings about 4 months ago that this was an option. But I don't see the option anymore.  Has Adobe changed this?  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

2019 update for anybody who may be interested:

  • Adobe Animate does not support AS2 or publish to AS2 whatsoever.
  • Adobe no longer allows users to download SC6 or older from the CC app or their website.
  • I was able to get a download load link from Adobe after contacting them directly and asking for it, and proving that I have a valid serial for SC6.
  • It doesn't matter if you subscribe and pay for Adobe CC currently, you are still expected to a have purchased SC6 license in order for them to issue you a custom download link and to use SC6.

Hopefully this saves somebody some time.

I am also trying to install Flash CS6 but can't find the option to install. These are the only app showing up in previous version to download. Any suggestion?

Hi Blars62,

Welcome to Adobe Forums.

You can use Flash Professional CS6 with the CC subscription.

Please go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/flash and from the drop down menu

on the left choose flash professional CS6. If you face any issue use the below link

Thanks

OK, thanks, but I don't see a drop down menu on the left on the first link.  (I see a big blue "download trial" button on the right, and at the top left, a row of menus, including cloud icon, "Files", "Download Center", "Learn" and "Upgrade".  But none of those seem to allow CS6).

Here's my situation: I have CS5.5 licensed, am currently using a trial for CC until I determine if CC will allow me to also download Flash CS6 at no additional cost.  (Otherwise, if I have to pay for CS6 so I can access the projector feature that was removed from CC, I'll know that licensing CC is not the answer for me).

My hope is to be able to download Flash CS6 at no additional cost beyond the CC membership, so I can access the features removed from Flash CC.  I just need specific instructions how to do this. Thanks!

Hi Blars62,

Since you are using a trial version of creative cloud that is the reason the drop down menu is not available.

You can go for CS6 for perpetual as well as creative cloud. if you want you can download the trial version of CS6 Flash Professional from the below link.
