Can I install CS5 on a new mac mini running Yosemite?

When I try and load from the disk, it says PowerPC applications not supported.

Yes, and they said they couldn't find where I had registered it, even though I would have had to register it to use it, and they want me to produce a receipt from over 10 or more years ago before they'll let me activate it with my serial number.

Are you sure you have CS5 and not something earlier?

I have heard of that message with CS2, but not CS5

Yes, it's CS5, I was able to load it from a download of the software from Adobe's site, but not from the disks. Thanks.
