I'm having a very similar issue, although for some reason when trying to install Photoshop Elements 14 onto a USB drive (which has around 28GB free) I am told that it is 'Unavle to install to chosen location'. Hopefully someone knows an answer! Thanks.

Fantastic, that's good to hear. Is there a way that I can check what devices I have activated? I am not 100% sure if I deactivated the one I attempted to use today. Thanks again.

No not at this time Kylem2037 the activation history is only available internally. There is not a public portal to check your activation status.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you do receive an error that you have exceeded your amount of allowable activations.  You may want to consider bookmarking the document regarding Activation that I referenced in post #7 for future reference.

    Branching to a new discussion.

Kylem2037 what operating system are you attempting to install Photoshop Elements 14 on?  What format is the USB drive formatted in?  Are you planning to permanently have the USB drive attached to the computer?

Please be aware that shared resources and temporary files will continue to be stored on the primary volume containing your operating system.  If you are attempting to install to custom location due to not having enough disk space then I would recommend freeing up additional space on the drive which contains your operating system.

I thought that the Adobe installer would not install programs to any kind of removable drive?

Depends on the product John.  The majority of our titles will support the application itself being installed to custom location.  It is not very practical though as there are still required files installed on the drive containing the operating system.

I branched this post out from a discussion where the common use case was not having enough disk space on the primary OS drive. This was leading individuals to perform a custom installation of Creative Cloud applications.
