Hi.  I cannot seem to find the answer for this simple question.

I just received a new iMac Pro yesterday for my digital agency.   I use Creative Cloud suite so setting it up manually.   I'm not migrating data en masse from my old iMac because I want to keep things clean and organized on this new machine.

QUESTION:   What is the BEST way to handle the CreativeCloudInstaller.dmg file after I have installed it to my new desktop?   Can I delete it?

If I put the dmg file in Trash will it then tell me that the CreativeCloudInstaller.dmg is still being accessed and can't be emptied with trash.

I've always wanted to ask this question.

please if anyone knows the "right" answer I would love to know.   Don't need "you could do this or you could do that".   I'd like a best use answer to this question.

thank you.

Mary

Correct answer kglad

you can delete all dmg files, including adobe's, after they install their files.

but there is no 'best' answer.  for dmg files that you'll never need again, ie you'll never reinstall the files, you can delete them.  for dmg's that you might want to use in the future and they may no longer be available, they should be saved.
