Hi guys how is life

I have a small question for the experts here.

I am buying tomorrow a never used physical creative suite copy from someone who has it laying around and is never used according to him.

Am i gonna have problems to install it after purchase on my imac? Will adobe allow it to be registered as a legit copy?

Where can i check to see if the serial number is not used yet? Appreciate if i get an answer before tomorrow.

Thanks for the help guys.

yes, you can expect problems if your os is incompatible (ie, sierra or high sierra).

no, you can't register it.  you might be able to install some of it and activate it but you can expect, at least some, and probably many problems.  there's no place to validate the serial number until you try to install.

that all said, you'll probably need this info to even start the installation,  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/install-creative-suite-mac-os-sierra.html

    Thanks kglad.

I still am running Yosemite. So no worries for adobe blocking serial number or the installation. got it.

    you're welcome.

make sure you can return your purchase if the serial number has been black-listed.  the selller might not even know they have an illegal serial number.  in fact, unless they bought it from adobe or an authorized vendor, they can't be sure their serial number is legal.
