Question

Can I upgrade to OSX Catalina without issues in Adobe Application Manager etc?

OSX Catalina is downloadable today, but 32bit apps won't work according to news items. I've checked my Mac for 32bit apps and there were a few Adobe apps listed:

  • Adobe Application Manager

  • Adobe_licutil

  • AAM Registration Notifier

  • AAM Updates Notifier

  • AAMLauncherUtil

  • Uninstall Product (2x listed)

  • Setup (3x listed)

Is it safe to upgrade or should I wait until Adobe updates the application manager to a 64bit app? I've gathered that the programs itself (PS, IL, ID) are fine in Catalina. We've got the Adobe CC subscription at work so everything should be updated to it's latest version.

Not safe to upgrade. WAIT. There’s much more to it than 32/64 bit stuff.
