Question

Can I use my Creative Cloud subscription on multiple devices?

I have two computers - an iMac 2012 desktop and a Macbook Pro 2011 laptop both with OS X Yosemite operating systems. I had cancelled my subscription a few years ago and am thinking about purchasing a new subscription. Would I be able to use the same subscription on both of my computers and will my operating systems support the Adobe programs? I mostly will be using InDesign and Photoshop. Before I purchase a new subscription I need to know if I will have to upgrade my computers first and if I will be able to access the same subscription and programs on both computers. Any advice is most welcome! Thanks.

Yes, definitely, with a few caveats:

  • You can install the software on as many computers as you like. Mac or PC does not matter.
  • You can activate the software (using the same Adobe ID) for use on a maximum of two computers at any one time
  • You can only use one of the two activated versions at a time
  • You can toggle activations between computers using Help > Sign In / Sign Out at any time

The latest CC versions require Sierra or higher.  But you can use older CC versions on Yosemite.  See links below.
