Can I use Premiere Elements 14 on my Mac too?

Hey guys, I bought and installed Premiere Elements 14 for my Windows 10 PC yesterday, I was under the (maybe wrong?) understanding that I would be able to also install and use it on my Mac, as long as they weren't both running at the same time. I downloaded it on my Mac but it won't accept the serial key. Is this a no-goer then?

    Thanks for the reply guys, that's a shame, I may see if there's any way I can pay to have my license upgraded to dual OS.

    The program used to automatically come as a multi-platform license.  These days that has changed, so unless you specifically purchased a multiplatform license, you are likely only good for the OS you purchased it for.

      Seems I can buy a disc version from Amazon for £5 less than the single OS download I got straight from Adobe, seems a bit dumb. Hopefully they'll refund me.

      Download versions are specific to the platform... my understanding is that only a boxed version in a store includes both platforms
