Can these two programs downloaded from the Creative Cloud be installed on another hard drive other than the primary hard drive or the C: drive? If so how?

Thank you

Yes Ncdhall you can customize the install location in the preferences within the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application.  For complete details see Download and install Creative Cloud apps .

Please be aware that temporary download, installation files, and shared components will continue to be installed to the OS partition.  This includes the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application itself.  If you are attempting to customize the install location because there is not sufficient space on the primary OS partition then I would recommend reconfiguring your partitions strategy so that the OS partition has sufficient space for installed applications and the operating system.

I have subsequently found another way to easily put the apps [in this case Photoshop & LR] on another drive. To the following approach the key is to have the Adobe CC app installed on the C:/ drive.

- launch Creative Cloud [CC] and select Home or Apps

> go to the cog in the upper right > Preferences from the popup menu

> select CC then Apps

> go down to Install Location

-- the default location is the C: drive > hit the down arrow and select change and browse to the drive you want to be the new install location

When I did this I uninstalled the two programs, made the install location change and re-installed them. They work just fine.

Hope this is helpful to anyone.
