Can't activate Adobe Creative Suite 6 in Installer and on Adobe Website

I bought a copy of Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection a few years ago. It didn't come with any disk, it was only the key. I have gotten a new pc last week and I wanted to use Creative Suite 6 on my new pc.

I haven't registered my copy on Adobe's Website but I still had the key.

So I started the installer programm and typed in my key. When I wanted to submit my key the installer said:

The entered serial number has been blocked. This product cannot be installed. Please contact support. 

I thought it was a problem with the installer so I went to Adobe's registering website.

There the message: This serial number is already in use. would come up.

I don't know what the problem is or what I can do about it.

OK, that would explain it. You wrote above: "It didn't come with any disk, it was only the key".. From a third-party seller, that is almost certainly counterfeit.

Where did you buy CS6 from? What was the source or vendor for your purchase?

I bought the CS6 key from Amazon Warehouse (from a 3rd party seller, not Adobe).
