Can't Activate New Computer

After migrating all files, etc from my old mac to my new Mac Studio M4, I can't activate it at my Creative Cloud Desktop account. I had no issues deactivating my old device, but when I go to my account settings/plans/payment/activated devices, all that shows up is; "you have no activated devices" without any means to activate my new mac.

What am I missing here?   Please help! Thank you in advance for any and all assistance.

good to hear.  what resolved the problem?

In all honesty, I don’t know. I went to bed with that issue, but when I logged on the next morning, my new computer was activated.
Then, I was able to download all the new apps. Learning curve is in order to get back up to speed. One step at a time, I suppose.

My gratitude to those of you who commented on my thread.🙏

You need to run the installation routines from downloads to make changes to your computer's upper level system files.

That's essential before you can activate Creative Cloud on a new device.

Log-in below to get Creative Cloud desktop app.

I’m all set at this point.
My apologies for not indicating that sooner.

migrating adobe files is problematic.

reset your new computer

unstall* everything adobe from your old computer.

then migrate old to new computer.

then properly** install cc

*
uninstall every cc app including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app  using the correct uninstaller per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-messaging

---------

**
install the cc desktop app from here https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs.

if you have trouble downloading the cc desktop app or you see an error message when trying to install, make sure you have a compatible os (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/system-requirements.html), and use the alternative download links at page bottom here, https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html
