Can't deactivate old device because it's dead

I've hit the "limit reached" message for the number of devices I can use my Lightroom service on. Problem - I can't sign out of one of the old devices because the machine is dead. Repeat, there is no option to deactivate my service from the old device.

Is there any way to deactivate a dead or lost device?

Kbrus75 are you trying to download and install Lightroom CC 2015?  I show that you have a Creative Cloud membership under the e-mail address/Adobe ID you used to post to this forum.  For details on how to install Lightroom on your new computer see Download and install Creative Cloud apps.

If you have reached your activation limit then please choose to sign out of all devices.  This will allow you to activate Lightroom CC 2015 on the new computer.  For more details see Activate and deactivate Adobe products.

If you need direct assistance with the install, or activation, process then please contact our support team directly as suggested by Kglad in message #1 of this discussion.

HI
I have the same problem and Adobe told me that they do not have access to their own database so they cannot delete the device for me.
so the question is who can do that as on my account it actually do not show any activated devices.

it seems that Adobe support is breaking the policies on purpose just to move the customers to pay-monthly bases and ignore the fact that I paid already for my life-time licence and I need to use my product , currently I cannot so basically they have stollen my product which I paid for already .

to restore an activation, you must deactivate using a computer that has an updated os and (non-opera) updated default browser.  there's no other method.

Hi Where does it say sign out of "all my devices"?  My account only shows one activated which I am using on my iMac, but when I just rented a travel Air - it says I have reached my limit - must be from on old rental because I am not running LRCC on any other computer.   Need Help.  Thanks.  Keri  cheweyhead@mac.con  or kdfimages@me.com

part of the "reached limit" warning is an option to sign out of all devices, if you're talking about the cc desktop app.

yes, using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'still need help', https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html and request 'an activation count reset'.

ask for nothing else or you'll be refused help and sent back here.
