Can't download Apps without up-dating CC. Can't up-date CC because of Error Code 1002.

Question

I purchased the monthly Photoshop plan a few years.

I decided today to take advantage of the All Apps sale and switched plans.

I went to download Audition (which I need right now).

I was prompted to up-date Creative Cloud. Hit "install."

The up-date got to "2%" and then hit me with "Error Code 1002."

I tried again to up-date Creative Cloud. Got "Error Code 1002."

I tried multiple times to up-date Creative Cloud. Got "Error Code 1002."

I rebooted my computer.

I tried to up-date Creative Cloud. Got "Error Code 1002."

I tried to uninstall Creative Cloud.

My laptop wouldn't let because other programs (Photoshop 2017) uses Creative Cloud.

I tried to uninstall Photoshop 2017.

Creative Cloud came back up when I tried to uninstall Photoshop 2017.

I tried to up-date Creative Cloud. Got "Error Code 1002."

There had been lots of repeating of these steps.

I tried to do the chat for help. No one showed up.

Please help me. I'm starting to see "Error Code 1002" when I blink.

what's your os version?

if you get to step 4, do a clean cc install following each applicable step:

uninstall every cc app including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
check for, and if available, update your os
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)
use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
