Can't download InDesign

I just bought Creative Cloud.  I can't download InDesign (using Adobe Application Manager).  I have Windows 8.  I get the following message: Unable to reach Adobe servers.  Check your internet connectivity, firewall settings, and then try again.  Also tried Photoshop.  Same message.
