Can't find deactivate option for Photoshop 7

I have an old version of Photoshop 7, I want to deactivate it so that I can install it on a new laptop. But I can't find the deactivate button under the Help menu. Tried to install it on new computer and cannot activate it, I assume this is because I have Photoshop 7 installed on 2 computers.

    Hello Hiflyer51,

If you are indeed trying to install Photoshop 7 (as opposed to Photoshop Elements 7), please be aware that the activation server for CS2 and older software was shut down due to a technical issue. Therefore, even if you were able to deactivate Photoshop 7, you would be unable to activate it on a new computer. As a workaround, Adobe has provided a special version of CS2 to affected customers: Error: "Activation Server Unavailable" | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3. Before downloading, please check that your computer meets the System requirements for Photoshop‌. Please be aware that Photoshop 7.0 is not compatible with newer operating systems.

If you have further questions or experience issues downloading and installing the special version of CS2, don't hesitate to post a reply to this discussion.
