can't find serial number

I have opened a case and need someone to help me find my serial number. I need to tranfser my Adobe license from this old computer to a new one.  I don't have my receipt   help!!

If you have registered your products you can find your serial number by completing the following steps:

  1. Sign in to your Adobe account with your Adobe ID (your email address) and password.
  2. Click My Adobe, and then click My Products.

But I don’t think my product has been registered ☹ My IT department installed full Adobe Distiller v7.0 on my machine in 2004. I’m moving to another laptop and I need to serial number to re-activate on the new machine. What can I do? I have a co-worker that has the original CD but I’m afraid that it is just licensed strictly to her now. If I have the CD, will that help?

New computer = Win 7? If so, Acrobat 7 will be of no use to you, anyway. It won't install correctly much less work properly.
