Can't find the options for Illustrator legacy versions

Make sure your computer meets the minimum CPU & GPU requirements. Most Creative Cloud apps work on these systems, no more than 2 versions back:

• Windows 11 (64-bit) versions 24H2, 23H2; Windows 10 versions 22H2, 21H2;
• MacOS 15 (Sequoia), 14.7 (Sonoma), 13.6.7 (Ventura).

Earlier operating systems are no longer supported.

Thanks for sharing the screenshot and explaining the situation. When you see 'System incompatible,' it usually means your current OS doesn't meet the requirements for the latest Illustrator version, which can also prevent legacy versions from showing up.

Could you please confirm your operating system version? In the meantime, please check that you've enabled 'Show Older Apps' in the Creative Cloud Desktop app by going to Preferences > Apps and turning it on. You can also review the system requirements here: Adobe Illustrator system requirements.

1. you can install the latest and 1 version prior versions using the cc desktop app. you must have a subscription because previous versions are not available with trials. other versions are revealed after clicking file preferences>apps>tick show older apps (at panel bottom).


2. no other versions are available

Adobe offers only the current and one previous version. There is nothing we can do to override this.
