Can't get rid of Adobe Application Manager window

Hi all,

I'm using a MacBook Pro, running CC 2018. I've updated all of the CC apps I've got on my system, and I cannot for the life of me get the Adobe Application Manager window to close, or to hide and stay hidden. I don't want or need it open. Every time I select "Hide Adobe Application Manager", it opens back up again. And I can't remove it from the dock either. When I right click on it in the dock and select Quit, it does nothing.

I've never had this issue before. How in the world do I get rid of it? I'm assuming I don't want to delete the app (no clue what it's for since I've never used it as far as I know); I just want it to close and stay closed.

Thanks!

Sue

Ok this is embarrassing. I'd never even heard of Activity Monitor, but this worked. AAM wouldn't quit with just the normal quit, but force quit seems to have worked.

Thanks!
