Can't initiate CS6

bought and downloaded CS6.  Hit setup.exe and get a dialogue box  that says: "Installer failed to initialize.  Please download Adobe SupportAdiser to detect the problem."  There is a icon to download SupportAdvisor that is unresponsive.  HIgh end HP computer with Windows 7.  Downloaded Support Advisor independently and it says there is nothing wrong.  setup.exe still won't work.

    We need exact system specs and info on what CS6 product you are actuialyl trying to install...
