Can't Install InDesign on this Used MacBook Air

Keeping gettting error 702, installation failed. There are no Adobe or CC files on this hard drive, though I know it used to run CC before I got it. Everything else is working, i.e. Word and Excel. The disk was supposedly wiped of all the previous owner's files. Tried running the uninstaller, also failed. Tried Disk First Aid, which says everything is fine. Thinking maybe they deleted something important when they took their files off? Should I try to reinstall the Mac OS? Are there files in that needed by the Adobe installers? I already put my stuff on here, do I have to wipe the disk and start all over again?

if you are using some kind of security profile on a business machine, it seems to mess up the file permissions in the /tmp/ directory. use the following command after logging into TERMINAL. sudo chmod 1777 /tmp/
