Can't Open Illustrator because it's remembering an old account

Question

I just downloaded Illustrator, but cannot get it to open because it's saying my account has expired.  I used to have it on this computer with a former employer but am now wanting it for personal use, but when I try to open it it asks me to purchase a plan (which I already did under a new email address) and if i click that it shows my old email and my old bosses payment info.  How do i get it to work with my new account?

sign out of your old account and remove everything

sign in to your new and install

-Cloud Manager to install all programs https://www.adobe.com/ie/creativecloud/desktop-app.html
