Can't open PS CS5 after installing from disc.

i installed Photoshop CS5 disc. A window opens and requests serial number and previous software. There is no button to click install only a trial button. Okay.

I find the software in the applications folder and double click it. A window appears that states "can't open application due to damaged or incomplete data.

The disc is okay. I have a backup on an external hard drive and that doesn't work either.

What happens when you type in the serial number?

I click the DONE button. Another window appears and asks what previous version of software I used. I used CS3. Now there is no choice.

I would expect an install button. There his only a trial button. I click that. I know that will be a headache in 30 days. I have screens shots to prove it.
