Can't reinstall CS4 Design Standard

Hello everybody,

This is the error given

Adobe Color EU Recommended Settings CS4

Error:

Error 2.

CS4 used to run flawlessly on my iMac i3 3.2 driven bij mac OS 10.7

Then I upgraded the hard drive to 2TB (it was in the Apple replacement programme anyway)

And I upgraded the system to Mountain Lion

Then Illustrator CS4 wouldn't start up, nor Photoshop

So I checked the help pages and since I am not technically inclined I chose the Uninstall version of troubleshooting.

This is what I have tried:

1.an uninstall of all Adobe CS4 items through their software, reinstall, no luck

2.creation of a new admin account called CS4, same results

So

When I try to reinstall this is shown

['continue' doesn't help]

and this was next

'more information' showed

The technical people at Adobe told me they could not support CS4 anymore.

Help would be much appreciated
