Can't reinstall just some CC2018 apps on MacOs 10.11. Not compatible anymore?

I've changed my startup disk and therefore I needed to reinstall my entire CC 2018 Collection. While for Photoshop and some other apps I hadn't any issue, with Illustrator, InDesign, Audition and Character Animator I'm fighting with a very strange behavior: the download starts and comes to an end with a message that confirms a successful installation. But as soon it finishes the application folder disappear from its destination folder and Creative Cloud panel show the app as if was to be installed yet. Tried many times, even changing the Adobe account and reinstalling the Creative Cloud Application but nothing has changed. Curiously installing the previous version CC2017 of these applications works perfectly. Anyone for a hint? Thanks

@brucgovn Thanks for your quick answer

- Indesign CC 2018 is indicated as compatible with MacOs 10.11

- Manual installation isn't possible anymore from the adobe website: the download button just launches your cc app from remote and then everything works as usual.

- My Mac is a 3,1 Pro and can't be further upgraded :-(

In the meanwhile I've solved using the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, which has allowed me to selectively choose which app to clean uninstall. Went out that I had traces of older installations around that prevented the newer ones to be properly finalized... Why some apps were affected by that while others weren't is out of my knowledge, but I could live with that and I won't investigate any further :-)

For example Indesign shud work fine on Mac OS 10.11 : Did you checked under Applications folder to check whether Indesign CC 2018 is installed?

InDesign system requirements

Try downloading manually and check :

Download Creative Cloud apps

If you still face same issue , check whether you can upgrade your Mac OS for higher version like High Seiraa
