Can't turn off auto renew

I realized I havn't touched adobe products for the past 2 months and just discovered that I'm stuck in the year long subscription with a 90$ cancelation fee. I guess I didn't read the fine print. I'm annoyed at that, but I guess it's my fault.

Right now I'm looking to just turn off auto renew so by the time next year comes around I don't get stuck into another year.

I really don't make nearly enough to afford an extra 20$ on my monthly expenses especially for a product I don't use.

there's no way to do that. rightly or wrongly, the most effective solution is to set a reminder to cancel after adobe receives its 12th payment, if you're paying monthly for that annual subscription.

@kglad I saw your message thread and wanted to assist you, and anyone thereafter with the same question.
The answer is below :

- Adobe currently doesn't have an option to stop renewal on an active plan. All plans are auto-renewal by nature. On the 12th month of your subscription plan you can make required changes to the plan without any fee.
- A "Renewal Email" will be sent to the registered email on the account. It will be sent 1 month (30 days ?)  before the date of renewal for you to make the required change without incurring any fee for this action.

Please note after that date or before that date you will be charged. Also please contact the Adobe support to obtain the date because it may differ from the date you may have in your records which could lead to misinformation and cause you to miss the date costing you a penalty fee.
Please also confirm a renewal email will be sent to your registered email account with the technical/account services representative in order to make sure you get one. If one is not sent or ends up in a junk filter it is still your responsibility so please set a reminder so you can resolve this when it is time.
Thank you, and take care.

that's the same information we've been giving to users for years with a slightly more accuracy about that 12th month.
