@Leslie22925011qhtg You can look in your Adobe account to see if you have the download link still available since your purchase. Sign in here: https://account.adobe.com/products.

Otherwise, you could get an external disc drive that is compatible with your new computer's ports. Check this info: Adobe Creative Suite archive

What is your old computer (operating system and version) and what is the error message?

It is no longer possible to download that very old version... buy an external DVD drive

If you are not able to uninstall, you can have support reset your activation count

(this is the ONLY support Adobe still offers for old programs)
When you can't deactivate a serial number
BE SURE TO ONLY ASK FOR ACTIVATION SUPPORT TO ADJUST YOUR ACTIVATION COUNT
You may need to PERSIST or TRY AGAIN to find a support agent with more experience

Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link
Do be aware that Adobe's staffing is impacted by the virus, so wait times are long
-you MUST make sure that your browser does NOT block ads, scripts, or pop-ups
-you MUST also allow 'cookies' in your web browser for the link to work
This link will go directly to the chat option
Type "Agent" in the chat box to bypass the chatbot and be connected to a person
-Meaning type in the word Agent without the quote " " marks

- or https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html
.
Adobe does NOT do support by email, so beware of answering anyone who sends you a private message

@John T Smith If CS 5, 5.5 is still available in their account under products and it was purchased or registered through Adobe.com, they can download it again according to this:

Download older versions of Adobe apps

ETA: I'll correct to say that if the registration is there but not the download link and they only have the disk, then I suppose they will not be able to get a link to the download file without Adobe support help, if at all.
