Can't update from 2014cc Photoshop

Always seems to freeze around 67-68% for a few hours. Whats the easy cure?

don't tell me to look into my log files, thats terrible UX. if adobe cared at all about user experience then these issues would be auto flagged and they'd contact me with a fix instead of relying on us to find the solutions to their broken programs.

actually by canceling the update it apparently broke my old one which now says photoshop 2015. which i also can't uninstall because it just says 'waiting....' for minutes.

so now the question is whats an easy way to uninstall? because clicking the cog in the cloud dropdown doesn't work. I'm assuming just find the damn files and drag to the trash.

had to reboot my entire comp because uninstalling gave me the rainbow wheel and i couldn't open a single folder. then i go to the application folder and trash photoshop 2015....unfortunately it still says i have it in the cloud tool....so now i have to go to uninstall in the cog dropdown. now it goes super fast probably because i deleted all the application files already.

Tragically though...I still have to 'update' in the cloud tool. maybe it will go more smoothly because it's fresh....who knows. I refuse to update my illustrator in fear that this will happen again.
