Can't update Photoshop or any Creative Cloud app

This is strange. I have creative cloud, but today am unable to update or download anything via the Cloud. This is true on both the laptop and main computer.

I keep hitting the same message: Updates could not be applied: You are already running the Adobe Application Manager. But there are no other applications running, just Photoshop and the system Finder.

Also, visiting the Cloud website, I can login, but can't download any new software from there either.

Main computer: Mac Pro running 10.7.5

Laptop: Mac Boook Pro running 10.8.4

Current cloud membership shows as active and valid.

OK, The Creative Cloud now seems to be working. I didn't close down or do anything. It just came back on again allowing to update.

    Hi Martin Evening,

Please restart your machine and try updating again. Change your browser and try to download CC apps.

I did try doing that and tried using both Safari and Firefox. Using Firefox browser it requires me to us the Creative Cloud Desktop app, but shows an error code A12E1 when running the installation process.

I have tried to uninstall the Creative Cloud app and redownload, but the uninstaller won't work either.
