can't upgrade adobe cs3 design standard on mac el capitan

hi, i got mac el capitan and can't upgrade 'adobe cs3 design standard' on it plus I don't know how to do it :

I thought the upgrade process will give me the latest adobe cs3 design standard version (that is CS 5 or more?).

I went here  and downloaded an upgrade for Illustrator entitled ' Illustrator_13_0_2_updater_en 11.53.58 ' but when I try to open the 'Adobe softare update.app' file, it crashes.

How can I get the latest CS5+ versions of my 'adobe cs3 design standard' bought in 2008 ? thanks.

    CS3 doesn't qualify for any upgrade unless you previously purchased a later upgrade version and have the serial number.

    Hey there,

    CS3 will not work on "mac el capitan" almost 100% guaranteed it will fail.

    Regarding the CS5 you have, depends on what kind of license you have, but I assume you can download from ‘DDL’ Articles at ProDesignTools do not forget to select correct version and follow the steps in order to enable downloads in

    Thank you very much for your help. The other day I was live chatting with an Adobe staff and he said I need to upgrade my CS3 in order to work on Mac el capitan. Seriously, I find it very poor customer service that on this website there is no way to email Support and get them on the phone for softwares that cost 2000 euros more or less for professionals, and be obliged to ask other users who are not IT professionals, no disrespect :ç

    The only version I bought is CS3 suite in 2008. thanks if you can help more.
