Question

Can you sell old Adobe Software?

Hi

I am upgrading to CC today, and I will therefore have a redundant copy of CS 5.5.  As long as it is totally removed from my computer, is it legal to sell it?

Thanks

S

As well as what Mylenium said, you must complete a License Transfer https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1355892

Well, as long as you buy an "upgrade", your CS5.5 becomes part of the deal and you cannot sell it. If you forego any discounts and buy a "full" CC subscription, then it would be possible.

I have sometimes wondered about that. There's nothing I can see in the promotional CS3-CS6 terms that say you must keep the CS3-CS6 software after you join the Cloud on the promotional first-12-months deal.

What - in the promotional Ts & Cs or the EULA - prevents anyone from

    1. signing up to the promotional deal
    2. entering their CS3-CS6 serial number
    3. being accepted for the discounted CC membership
    4. immediately selling their CS3-CS6 software and transferring the license
