Cancel account SCAM

I initially signed up for the Illustrator Free Trial, when I went to cancel, the rep I was connected to indicated that they could continue my free trial for 3 extra months at no charge. Now, I'm trying to cancel and the website is indicating that I will be charged an early termination fee of $45. I've tried to chat with a customer service rep and I am told that I am in an annual plan and of course I am being charged to terminate early. When I try to discuss further that there are no invoices or payments and that I was put in this plan as a way to extend my trial, I get no response. It has been HOURS.

I should not have to pay this. Very deceptive if this is common practice. If I do not get a resolution, I will contest this charge with my credit card company and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

adobe support can't extend the trial.  they can give you credit for 3 months of payments for the annual plan and that's what you probably received.

in addition, unless you have the photographers plan (~$10/mo for photoshop and lightroom), an early termination fee of $45 implies you've been using illustrator for ~7 months.
