"canceled due to 'Customer Usage'" (Maybe wrong place for this, if so, sorry.)

So I recently received 2 e-mails from Adobe saying that my "subscription was canceled on 6/1/2018 5:39 AM  due to Customer Usage". Both gave me a different case number, but, other than that, the e-mails were identical. I didn't think this was extreme enough to call or chat (both are closed at this time for me, anyways), as I'm more just curious why my subscription was cancelled in the first place, as well as a few more questions. I'll number them below:

1. (The most important) What does "due to Customer Usage" even mean? I had not used this product in probably about a month, I'll admit, but do they really keep track of that? And why cancel it FOR me? Shouldn't it be my choice if I continue to want to pay for something just to have it there just in case, even if I'm not using it all the time? And if they did this to say, help me out with not spending money on something I'm not using, why not give me a warning first? I also did a few google searches and it so far sounds like I'm somehow the only person for this to happen to. There are 0 forums or FAQs about this situation, whether on this website/forums or others. I am at a complete loss.

2. Why did I get 2 case numbers? So neither e-mail specified which plan they were about. I actually have,or, I guess, HAD now, 2 plans (1 monthly plan for just Animate, and a yearly plan for the Photography package), yet when I went on the account I found out only the monthly one had been cancelled. (Animate was the one I had not used frequently, as mentioned above.) So... why did I get 2 e-mails and 2 case numbers for the same thing...? I even checked on my yearly plan and I have months until that one is due and is fine. It seems I've received 2 different e-mails and case numbers for the exact same thing.

3. Why is the cancel past tense (cancelED) when the date/time hasn't even come yet? So currently it is about 7:45 PM on 5/31/18 and the plan is cancelled on my account. If this was a warning e-mail then why is it already cancelled? I also have not received a single other "warning" from Adobe prior to this. (I go on my e-mail multiple times a day and all I've received from Adobe for the past few months is invites to surveys...)

I guess that's about it. Again, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, if you have any suggestions/links to where this would fit better, please tell me. I'll admit I spent a good 20 or so minutes trying to just get around these forums to even find a place to let me post and I am a bit frustrated with the trouble of this all. I thought that since this is about my Animate subscription (and there seems to be absolutely 0 places/forums to ask about this situation), I might find help here. Perhaps this has happened to someone else here?

Absolutely any advice or explanation you guys can give me would be really appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi Ninja sheep,

It sounds like your membership was cancelled for lack of usage but not confirmed with you first or communicated properly. I've made arrangements for someone to follow up with you to clarify the questions you posted above. Sorry for poor experience and confusion.

Best,

- Dave

This isn't the right place, but I think I know where is. I'll try to move you over there...

I did manage the move, you're in the Creative Cloud forum now, where most questions about subscriptions seem to live. I'll see if I can get someone to come and read your message.
