Hi, tonight while trying to edit my videos I seen it was an update and I couldn’t access the software without updating it. I decided to update the software so I can finish two of my YouTube videos to publish tonight but the update deleted everything from all the videos I’ve saved and was working on. I’m very livid that the update did that especially because I’m paying for the software. I’ve been working very hard on my videos and to know I was just about done with one and the other I just needed to export is now deleted. I would like to cancle my subcription. This isn’t right at all....

The update does not delete anything. But, sometimes the start screen in Premiere Pro is empty on a new install but the files on your hard drive are always left untouched.

When you create a project in Premiere Pro you do create a project file. Do a search for .prproj files in any file manager such as Explorer on Windows or Finder on Mac to find it and open it in Premiere Pro.
