Trying to Get Photos .NEF with Adobe Bridge for first time from a new Nikon D850. Get "File Cannot Be Created" "The file name is invalid or you do not have permission to save to the specified directory." Have utilized these same steps for tens of thousands of shot on a D819

I do have latest version of Camera RAW.

Imported utilizing Lightroom instead of Bridge - no problem importing or subsequently processing with Bridge.

Also Copied & Pasted with Finder - no problem importing or subsequently processing with Bridge.

Message remains when utilizing Bridge to import.

And what if you change the destination folder ( for example by creating a folder on your desktop ) .

The fact that via Lightroom it works does not mean anything because each application has different permissions on the machine's folders .
