Cannot download Adobe CC apps because "AdobeCSDaemon" is running

Hey y'all, as the subject states I cannot download any apps from the creative cloud because I need to shut down AdobeCSDaemon. Thing is, I've completted this task and the app is still stating I need to shut down AdobeCSDaemon. Has anyone else been getting the same problem? Or is there something you could recommend I do?
