Cannot extract files

I downloaded the two files for PSE12, and tried to start the installer. I get an error message "A problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available space on your computer and the write privileges on the destination folder." I have a ton of memory, and the folder is on my desktop...so there aren't any special permissions set. Please help!

I would suggest that you change the location where you are trying to extract the file and try again.

I've tried downloading to my external hard drive, 'my documents', a folder on my desktop, and to the actual desktop. All come back with the same error message.

Hi brhd22,

You can try up a different machine to extract it and get the setup file back on your machine via flash drive/pen-drive.

If it is just with the extraction this should help you.
