Cannot find any options for Forgotten Password

I can see the option for changing your password, but you must know your old password in order to do that, but for the life of me I cannot find any option for Fogotten password! The Help guide must be out of date because my account screen is totally different to that shown. I do not get a Forgotten password option.

    When you are installing or updating on a Mac, that is your Mac asking you to prove that you have permission by asking for your COMPUTER password, not your Adobe password

    This won't help the original person with lost files, but For anyone else reading this...
    You should always have a local copy of all files, including account information
    Make a text file with your account information and copy to an external device

    A USB flash drive to keep in a safe place... here are 2, there are many more available

    Same here. I keep going in circles because I am automatically signed in and in order to change the password I need to remember the old one.. Frustrating!

    I'm having the same problem.  I'm trying to authorise another device, told to enter my password, my password not accepted, so I try the 'forgotten password' link, which requires me to entermy curernt password in order to change it.  Can anyon help?  Juat going round in circles with Adobe   Help

    You are logged in to post here... so what is your problem with a forgetten password?

    Because the auto login signed me in. However, the password in my Google password file is showing up as "incorrect" when trying to "change password". Go figure?
