Cannot install Acrobat XI Pro, Error Code 1316

Question

When I try to install Acrobat XI Pro on a Dell XPS 9000 running Windows 7 Ultimate, I get Error Code 1316: "A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file C:\Windows\Installer\AcroPro.msi".  I am installing from a CD and I have a serial number.  Of note, the software installed successfully on a Dell XPS 15 laptop, also running Windows 7 Ultimate, from the SAME CD with no issues.  Can anyone help me with this?

Did you have Acrobat installed on this computer previously? It is apparently trying reference and Installer directory within your Windows directory.
