Cannot install Adobe XD on Win 10 Pro (1803)

Hi!

I'm getting a "Not Compatible" notification in the Creative Cloud app, which asks for the minimum Win 10 1703 update. BUt I have the latest 1803 one already ... The same goes for the Lightroom CC and Premiere Rush CC. Other apps have been installed without any problem.

Please, help!

My Specs:

UPDATE: When I logged in as an Administrator, the error is not showing up anymore and all apps, including XD CC can be installed. Also, there were updates, which wouldn't show up under the standard user account. This is strange, since I have a similar setup on my Windows 10 Home laptop and I am able to install/update apps under the standard user account ...

SOLUTION: I did a fresh restart of the Windows - now, Creative Cloud works as intended and there are no Messages of incompatibility.

I deleted all apps and the CC app from the PC, used the cleaning tool from Adobe.

Installed a brand new CC app under the Standard user Windows account, the problem persists. I get all latest updates only when logged in under the administrator Windows account. Updated the Premiere Pro under the Admin. account, logged in under the Standard user account: CC app shows that Premiere Pro is not installed, however, I am able to rund it by clicking the application in the Windows Start menu...

Bizzare ...

Hi Preran,

I'm talking about Windows accounts. On my PC and a laptop I installed Creative Cloud apps under Standard User accounts, using administrator's credentials. However, the CC is acting differently on these different machines.

Thanks!

I am glad to hear that you were able to find a workaround solution for installing Adobe XD. Just to be sure, when you talk about accounts, are you talking about the Microsoft account or the Creative Cloud account. If it is the Creative Cloud account, what's the nature of license that you have purchased for Creative Cloud (Individual, Team, or Enterprise)?

Thanks,

Preran
