Just purchased the Adobe package for myself and was happy until I tried to download. I CANNOT because it said that my OS is no longer being recognized or used by current Mac systems.  I hope am explaining this right but bottom line is I cannot access the programs I ordered because my "OS" is too old. PLEASE HELP. I just upgraded from 10.6.8 to what I have now which is OS 10.7.5 so I have no more money to spend updating again. I need to do my work but my old programs no longer work on my computer and the new ones cannot either.

BUMMER! My system is too old to qualify for the upgrade you suggested. Wow.

You need a new computer anyway because yours doesn't have nearly enough memory to support PS & Illustrator.

If money is an issue, consider buying a Windows PC.  You'll get a lot more computer for less money.

You might be able to update your mac for free to El Capitan or High Sierra, which do support adobe cc applications

    and other new adobe software.

What model and year mac do you have?

Wandam46032469 I am sorry that you are facing difficulties using Adobe software titles on your computer running Mac OS 10.7.5.  What specific Adobe software titles, and versions, are you trying to utilize?

I am trying to download Illustrator CC and photoshop CC.  I need the programs very badly.  I had Illustrator and Photoshop CS prior to this but at least they were able to open with OS 10.6.8.

Keep in mind that these are minimum requirements.  You will need additional RAM and hard disk space to run your operating system + all your other software.

The Creative Cloud Desktop Application requires Mac OS X 10.10 or higher.  This is the software that manages your creative cloud products.

    Photoshop system minimum requirements

    • Multicore Intel processor with 64-bit support
    • macOS version 10.12 (Sierra), Mac OS X version 10.11 (El Capitan), or Mac OS X version 10.10 (Yosemite)
    • 2 GB or more of RAM (8 GB recommended)
    • 4 GB or more of available hard-disk space for installation; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on a volume that uses a case-sensitive file system)
    • 1024 x 768 display (1280x800 recommended) with 16-bit color and 512 MB or more of dedicated VRAM; 2 GB is recommended*
    • OpenGL 2.0-capable system
    • Internet connection and registration are necessary for required software activation, membership validation, and access to online services.**

    Illustrator system minimum requirements

    • Multicore Intel processor with 64-bit support
    • macOS version 10.12 (Sierra) or Mac OS X version 10.11 (El Capitan)
    • 2 GB of RAM (8 GB recommended)
    • 2 GB of available hard-disk space for installation; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on a volume that uses a case-sensitive file system or on removable flash storage devices)
    • 1024 x 768 display (1280 x 800 recommended)
    • Optional: To use GPU Performance: Your Mac should have a minimum of 1 GB of VRAM (2 GB recommended), and your computer must support OpenGL version 4.0 or greater.
      • To check for VRAM values: Choose Mac > About This Mac (Graphics information)
      • To find out if your computer supports the required OpenGL version (4.0 or later), see this Apple Support document.
    • Internet connection and registration are necessary for required software activation, validation of subscriptions, and access to online services.*
