cannot install creative cloud on new windows 8.1 pro install

I am trying to install the creative cloud app and when it starts, it says initializing installer, then downloading (xxx) and then it just stops and closes out.  This takes all of less than I min.

Please help

Edward have you utilized the steps listed in Error "Failed to Install" Creative Cloud Desktop application - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/failed-install-creative-cloud-desktop.html to reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop application?
