cannot install cs 5.5 design premium creative suite upgrade

It took many many hours and attempts to download the software-I was very  unhappy about that and not it will not install. I have the student/teacher version. I restarted and still get this error message and I canont install the upgrade. If this cannot be upgraded from cs 5.0 to cs 5.5, , I would like a refund please.

There currently are no phone oeprators available for service, but there was always one for sales. This is very upsetting.

    I have the student/faculty version and am getting exactly the same message.  I have been through all of the pages linked to http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/843/cpsid_84332.html  and none of them are helpful.  I find it frustrating that writing shell scripts is easier than intalling CS5.5
