Cannot open any Creative Cloud Apps

When I try to open Photoshop or any app installed throught AAM, AAM just bounces in the dock and never opens.  When I try to open AAM on it's own, again, it just bounces in the dock.  I have to force quit. I downloaded the latest AAM from Adobe, but when I try to install i get this error:  "The application Install.app can't be opened. -1712".  Anyone have any ideas?

My system is a Mac Pro with 10.7.5.

Has the Adobe Application Manager ever worked?  If so what changed?  What other Adobe Creative software do you currently have installed on your computer?
