Cannot record audio on video creation with Spark

A few days ago, I was able to create a video with narration.  Today, I cannot get the narration to work.  Sometimes it appears that when I depress the record activation that it should be recording.  I sometimes get an "uh-oh the narration feature is not working".  I have checked my microphone on another device and it works fine.

Any ideas?  I run Windows 10 on a Dell PC.  Again, it worked fine the other day.
