Hello, I'm trying to activate an old CS6 product code on the website but it's saying the format of the code is invalid. Is there any way to get it to accept it, or is CS6 simply abandonware at this point?
2. you can check your account (if you purchased from or registered with adobe AND you remember the adobe id used to purchase/register), https://accounts.adobe.com
3. if your adobe program is installed on another computer you can recover its serial number from that computer,
You are correct, PJBlackmoore. The code was turned into a serial number a long time ago. Please see our previous posts on how you can regain access to the account you used to redeem the code.
Once you are logged in under the correct account, you can use the steps listed in https://adobe.ly/4i4lpTX to download the installation files. ^JW
Thanks for posting your question, PJBlackmoore. Please see https://adobe.ly/41YPVZj for information on how to locate any serial numbers. If you are trying to enter any letters, then you have a redemption code and not a serial number. If this is the case, the serial number will be registered to the account you used to originally redeem the code. Please see https://adobe.ly/424xGl7 for information on redemption codes and https://adobe.ly/4lhXd3h if you need to reset your password to access the account with the registered software. ^JW
