Cannot reinstall Premiere Pro to resolve missing .dll issue

In cleaning up the desktop, deleted some random cookies.  Next thing I couldn't open Premiere Pro.  Error Message; "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP110.DLL was not found.  Reinstalling the program may fix the problem."  Thinking the .dll code was deleted with the deleted cookies I proceeded to uninstall Premiere Pro in order to reinstall it to get back the missing .dll file.  So the program is uninstalled, but now attempts to reinstall fail.  What the heck do I do to get back the program?

i had a similar problem, i reinstalled the dll but it didn't work.
in this case in windows 10 settings, apps and features, you can try to fix or reset "microsoft visual C ++ redistributable" or reinstall it. I solved the problem by correcting the latest version.

Thank you for your reply, assistance and the link.  The link and its download worked like a charm.  I immediately was able to reinstall Premiere Pro, open it and have been successfully using it this past 24 hours--no glitches, everything works as advertised.  Again, Thank you.

    If you don't have MSVCP110.DLL most things will fail. This is a crucial system component made by Microsoft. DON'T GO THOSE DLL DOWNLOAD SITES!! Only trust official links, for Microsoft components that's somewhere on microsoft.com . Try https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/confirmation.aspx?id=30679

     

    If you install this OK and you still can't install Premiere after a reboot, please tell us the error message(s) you get, in full.
