Cannot sign into Creative Cloud Desktop

Howdy! Short-time user, first time caller, blah, blah.

I can't log into Creative Cloud Desktop. This has been going on for at least 3 days. When I enter my user name and password (I've checked several times - they are correct), I get the Spiney Circle of Processing, and then this message: "Unknown Server Error. Sign in is currently unavailable. We are unable to access your account. Please try again later." There's a "Retry" button. I click it - rinse, repeat.

I have:

  1. Uninstalled and re-downloaded and re-installed.
  2. I have tried using Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool (ACCCT).
    1. As the directions in the read me file delineate: First, I uninstalled Desktop. Then I downloaded and opened ACCCT. However, I couldn't clean it - because it wasn't in the list - because I'd uninstalled it.
    2. Reinstalled, and tried cleaning then. No joy.

As I understand it, if I can't log in, the license on my computer will expire, and I won't be able to use these products - from which I make my living.

Please help asap.

Thanks!

Best,

Ian

Okay!

I'm in - used the following steps from this page: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5419167

If you are unable to sign in to Creative Cloud Connection but there is no error message please try following these steps:

1. Quit Creative Cloud Connection and Adobe Application Manager (if it's running).

2. Delete your opm.db file from this location:

Windows - c:\Users\<yourusername\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE\opm.db

Mac - /Users/<yourusername>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db

3. Restart Creative Cloud Connection. You will be prompted to sign in again.

It's post #25, about 2/3 down the page.

I'm considering this closed, for now.

Thanks!

Where are you trying to log in from? If you're trying to log in from work, some corporate systems won't allow Creative Cloud log in via their proxy servers.
